LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL SUBMISSIONS!

Lighthouse Players is excited to revamp our production of Little Women the Broadway Musical this December! We are breathing fresh new life into the production including giving our students the wonderful opportunity to take stage with professional adults.

Please submit a 32 bar vocal selection of a piece in style of the show. Also please send your headshot and resume. Send to: admin@lighthouseplayers.org

Submissions are due Friday, August 22 by 5 PM

Invited Callbacks are Monday, August 25 from 6 - 9 PM

Photoshoot: October 19

Called Rehearsals: October 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, November 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 29

Tech: November 30, December 2, 3 (Tech Team only on Dec 1)

Performances: December 4, 5, 6 - 7 PM, December 6 - 2 PM

Rehearsals take place at Lifeway Church

Tech and performances take place at The Bornemann Theatre

Tuition is $300.

Meg March

The world-weary, yet hopeful, oldest sister who yearns for a great life. She marries John and has twins with him. Understudy will double as one of the Hags, Ballroom Dancer, Ice Skater, and Beachcomber.

Gender: Female

Age: 16 to 24 played by an 16 - 19 year old student.

Vocal range top: Gb5

Vocal range bottom: A#3

Jo March

Our story's protagonist. Passionate, adventurous, and brave. She has the idea of writing Little Women and eventually becomes engaged to Professor Bhaer. Understudy will double as one of the Hags, Ballroom Dancer, Ice Skater, and Beachcomber.

Gender: Female

Age: 15 to 23 played by an 18 - 19 year old student.

Vocal range bottom: E3

Beth March

The second youngest sister who tragically dies of Scarlet Fever. Peace-maker, lover, and an optimist who is always encouraging her sisters to dream. Understudy will double as one of the Trolls, Ballroom Dancer, Ice Skater, and Beachcomber.

Gender: Female

Age: 13 to 21 played by a 14 - 16 year old student.

Vocal range top: G5

Vocal range bottom: A3

Amy March

The youngest, most energetic sister with a rather pompous air about her. She later marries Laurie. Understudy will double as one of the Trolls, Ballroom Dancer, Ice Skater, and Beachcomber.

Gender: Female

Age: 12 to 20 played either by a 12 - 13 year old as Young Amy and a 16 - 18 year old Amy or a 14 - 15 year old who plays all ages of Amy.

Vocal range top: Gb5

Vocal range bottom: B3

Laurie Laurence

The bright-eyed boy-next-door with considerable charm. He loves Jo but later falls in love with Amy.

Understudy will double as a Monk, Ballroom Dancer, Ice Skater, and Beachcomber.

Gender: Male

Age: 15 to 23 played by a 16 - 18 year old student.

Vocal range top: Bb4

Vocal range bottom: Bb2

Mr. John Brooke

Laurie's tutor and a rather stiff man; shows very little emotion. He later marries Meg and changes.

Gender: Male

Age: 20s  played by a 16 - 19 year old student or an adult if the Meg is 18+.

Vocal range top: F#4
